Join the Hartford Business Journal on Friday, March 20 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for the Second Annual Municipal Collaboration Summit at the Hartford Hilton. The event is an opportunity for mayors, school board members, superintendents, town attorneys, town engineers, town financial services professionals and town managers alike to participate in a series of workshops and panel presentations focused on the benefits of collaboration for efficiency and cost control.
The Summit will kick-off with an Opening Session from Connecticut House Speaker J. Brendan Sharkey, D-Hamden and will feature a variety of workshops on topics including: Leveraging Connections for Better and Cheaper Municipal Services; Promoting Regional Collaboration to Achieve Savings; M.O.R.E. Commission: What’s Next; Municipal Fraud Protection; Transparency and Open Public Data; Opportunities and Barriers: Inter-town Cooperation; Integrating Non-educational School-town Operations; Municipal Finance and Bonding: Opportunities to Collaborate; and C.H.O.S.E.N. Collaborative Hands on STEM Education Network.
