Tour des Farms Bike Rides Scheduled for October 6, 2018 in Scenic Litchfield Hills

Since 2003, thousands of riders and volunteers have participated in numerous Connecticut Tour des Farms bicycle rides. Tour des Farms is designed to raise awareness and funding to implement Connecticut Resource Conservation and Development’s agricultural and conservation projects.

This year’s rides will be held in Connecticut’s Northwest Hills on October 6, 2018. The tour will visit numerous farms in Goshen, Litchfield, and Morris. Ride this scenic route during the height of fall foliage, visit farms, buy your produce, pumpkins, chocolates, and wine. There is a choice of two routes: 26 miles or 16 miles.  A van travels to the farms, picks up riders’ purchases, and delivers them back to riders at the starting point. This fundraising celebration for Connecticut RC&D’s 50th Anniversary will conclude with PieFest, music, and activities at the White Memorial Conservation Center.
