The Connecticut Housing Coalition Community Developers Network is offering a two-day mixed-use development training program entitled Breathing New Life Into Main Street on May 18th and 19th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Lyceum, 277 Lawrence Street, Hartford, CT. Sponsored by the Citi Foundation and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, the program is targeted for those who are new to mixed-use development and those who anticipate mixed use in their future portfolio. Special topics to be addressed will include: mixed-use development challenges; inventorying what you have to work with; thinking outside the box for adaptive reuse; the real estate financing process; exploring financing options; and how to fill commercial space.
